America’s Affordable Health Choices Act is legislation proposed in the United States Congress during 2009 as part of an effort to expand health insurance coverage to the uninsured through new taxes on the wealthy and increased government spending. The bill was sponsored by Senator Edward Kennedy, (D-Massachussetts), and the Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions (HELP).
