Nakatomi Plaza
Completed in 1987, the architects behind its design were Scott Johnson, Bill Fain and William L. Owned by Orange County-based The Irvine Company, Fox Plaza is 20th Century Fox's headquarters.
The building has been featured in at least four major motion pictures to date, all Fox releases.
Fox Plaza is the actual building used for the Nakatomi Plaza, a fictional office building that is the setting of the first Die Hard film. The apparent destruction of the building in the film was accomplished by Richard Edlund using scale model pyrotechnic effects.
The building's lobby was also featured in the opening scene of the Keanu Reeves film Speed. Fox Plaza was also used as a template for one of the buildings brought down at the end of the feature film Fight Club.
This tower is also featured in "Family Guy" season 7, episode 10, "Fox-y Lady."
Former U.S. President Ronald Reagan occupied a penthouse on the 34th floor for several years after leaving public office.
