She starred in the Spanish-language novella Agujetas de Color de Rosa, which is seen in 45 countries. with Children, Out of the Blue and Acapulco H.E.A.T..Her best known role was in Stargate SG-1, where she guest starred in several episodes as Daniel Jackson's (Michael Shanks) wife, Sha'uri/Sha're, and Amonet.
She originally auditioned for the role of Sha'uri in Stargate, the 1994 film, but ultimately lost to Mili Avital. Later on, she auditioned for the same role in Stargate SG-1 and got it.
Private Life
She is of mixed descent, being American, German, and Tahitian.Her mother is related to the Royal House of Makea Karika in the Cook Islands.
She was Julio Iglesias' girlfriend and was once married to Peter Bandera. It is unknown if she will come back to act and now runs three fashion companies KenTa designs, Royal Hip and RoyalMocc.
