Alongside sister station WFLZ, WXXL can be picked up in much of the Tampa Bay Area. WXXL's competes with Rhythmic Top 40 station, Power 95.3 and Hot Adult Contemporary station, Mix 105.1.

Shows include: The Johnny & Jayde Morning Show which is aired between 5am and 10am, it is fronted by long time XL DJ Johnny Magic who has been waking up Orlando for many years, and still manages to hold good listening figures.

This occurred because the Orlando market at the time did not have a full-time modern/alternative rock station. Hosted originally by "Surfer Dave", (then, in 1994, taken over by his former producer Nikki Knight,) Alternative Static consistently led the ratings in its time slot.

Jayde Sweet is a former Sacramento, CA radio DJ who worked for "The Morning Rave" radio show on Sacramento's KDND.
